Montessori British School

Which is the best school?

There are many rankings that seek to categorize schools: is this feasible? How should parents navigate through this information to really find "the best school" for their children?

We asked Claudia Díaz, headmistress at Montessori British School—an institution of great prestige in our country—, and this is her answer:

“Parents are looking for ‘the best school’, and my task as headmistress is precisely the same: to run the best school. In view of the similarity of both tasks, I wanted to share the plan of action that I follow for this purpose, because I believe that parents can use it to find that ‘ideal’ school. The task is complex, and different aspects must be evaluated differently.”

It is no secret to anyone that China is a commercial power, and it is important to understand this culture and its language. 5. Premises
The school is your child's second home. Where do you want them to live? At Montessori British School, our students learn in a living museum, where no space is the same as the other. Our spaces are specially designed to learn, something very valuable considering that we are located within the urban perimeter.
    6. Education for life
Learning should not only arise from good results in standardized tests, but should go further to allow each student to make good decisions in their life. Our curriculum is based on the pursuit of sustained happiness, healthy eating, and an optimal lifestyle for children.

Recognition by national and international organizations is essential. In addition, we have been accredited by AdvancED and Cambridge International.

    12. Technology
Students’ speaking the language of robots is important in this technological world. Robotics is not an extracurricular activity at our school, but a subject like any other, which children take from preschool.
